It is with great excitement and deep honor that I welcome you to the Energy Institute High School—Houston ISD’s pioneering campus dedicated to shaping the future of energy, innovation, and leadership. I am thrilled to be the leader of a school that participates in a thematic approach to the school experience – combining the exploration of energy careers with a rich, interdisciplinary project based learning instructional model.

Energy's students are changing the world one project at a time. Each day, our students work in collaborative teams to solve complex, real-world problems that bring to life the academic objectives from each subject. 

Our mission remains rooted in a bold vision: to blend STEM education with immersive, project-based learning that connects students directly with industry professionals, cutting-edge technologies, and global perspectives. Whether through corporate partnerships, hands-on engineering challenges, or international STEM experiences, our students are constantly encouraged to think critically, collaborate creatively, and dream boldly.

As we embark on this journey together, I am committed to fostering a school culture where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. Together with our dedicated staff, engaged families, and vibrant community partners, we will continue to break barriers and set new standards for what education can be.
